I like this pedal as well due to its size. Really looking for as much bass and as much sustain as possible. Try to get a nice tone from your amp and set the three controls on the Musket to as close as you can get to your desired tone. I am a Gilmour fan , so much that I started playing 2 years ago and I have literally hit the ground running. I got my Iron Bell a few days ago. I had a question regarding the Vick 73 Rams Head. For solos, I tried a Boss-SD1 in both configurations, before and after the Mooer and before as booster I thought it worked so much better, killer tone.
Diana for Joy Editorial. Hey Bjorn, I know it has to do with mixing and the nature of recording but, why does the Big Muff sound so bright in Animals but soooo bassy and full in bootleggings? The pedal stands best on its own but a transparent booster or EQ will give it a bit more top end and sparkle. The additional pre, mids and focus controls makes the pedal incredibly versatile and suitable for more genres and styles than any other Big Muff.

The Iron Bell is kind of a mix between a Muff and a Rat, which is what you get when stackig a Muff with an overdrive. Here in particular we can hear the difference in the sound of a big muff used on a twin fender amp and on a marshall, as we can hear the same difference if we use a sd-1 boss. Is sounds sooo lovely!!
The Muffuletta is really great and well worth checking out. Viki for Glo-Story Catalogue. Petra for Ppaper Magazine.
